As I sit here on Spring Break, I am thinking about how this school year is wrapping up! On Monday, we will have 6 weeks of school left. In that time, we will have a trip to LegoLand and then I will go to the beach that same day, and then CRCT testing, Field Day, and it will be the end before we know it. It has been a school year of highs and lows. I am learning how to work with different people and I am learning that I need to work on reading a book that shows you how to work with difficult people. I am hoping for next year, that it won't be as hard concerning co-teaching. There are many things I have seen this year that I am surprised have gotten by the radar. So we will see what the plan for me is next year.
For school activities, I am working on making Egg math. It is something I have seen all over the place, but I bought the information from Fun in First and I am doing Fractions and then Place Value. I will probably do word families also. I am always looking for new activities and centers to keep everything exciting for my students.
In something new, I am not dating anyone currently. The guy from my last post, stopped talking to me and so I am back out on the scene. I am looking and we will see what happens. These guys on these dating websites are very hard to deal with. It is all part of the dating scene and being single.
Second new thing, I am applying to University of West Georgia to complete my Ed.S. program in Special Education. It is completely online and it will help me further my career. I am nervous about getting started, but I know that if I don't go ahead and do it now that when I want to get to it, life will get in the way.
Lastly, we are doing the biggest loser competition at school. I have always wanted to lose at least 15 lbs. I am working on losing 10 lbs right now. I want to win this biggest loser competition at school. I have until May 9th to lose the weight. I am exercising and trying to watch what I eat. I don't know if I am doing so well this week, but I am trying to plan out what I eat and see how I do.
Until next time!
